The black smoke purifier is a "wet" composite fire smoke (dust) purification equipment. The main structure of the entire equipment is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. This product uses advanced technology and adopts corrugated inclined plate fillers. The fan and purifier are connected as one. Using aerodynamics, in the finely designed integrated structure, due to the force of the fan, a stirring, boiling water layer and a multi-layer water film will be generated in the purifier. The black smoke (dust) is purified after three water purification treatments and three mechanical purification treatments by comprehensively utilizing the principles of water vapor reverse impact, washing, water film filtration, foam absorption, enrichment, multiple mechanical collisions, interception, reduction, condensation, and effective adsorption.

Green Union Purification L-DEZS series heavy-duty diesel engine exhaust dry particulate matter collector is a new type of diesel engine exhaust treatment device developed by the technical team of Green Union Purification Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. using internationally advanced adsorption and catalytic oxidation processes, and has all intellectual property rights . It belongs to the third generation of diesel engine black smoke purifiers . The diesel engine exhaust particulate collector is composed of multiple sets of metal DPF carriers in parallel. It adopts a snap-on fixed and removable unit design. When the PM carbon particle plug causes high back pressure, the electronic pressure sensor senses the pressure signal and transmits it to the electronic control system to alarm and open the bypass. The filter unit can be flexibly withdrawn for water washing and regeneration, and no energy is consumed during operation. It has the advantages of high processing efficiency, small startup pressure, long blocking time, convenient and quick regeneration and cleaning, convenient direct lifting and installation, stainless steel for a long service life, noise reduction function, no power loss, and high safety factor of automatic bypass alarm.


The black smoke exhaust purifier box is made of 409 stainless steel, the bypass adopts a high temperature resistant and rainproof butterfly valve, and the filter element is made of alloy wire filter element, which will never rust for life. The inlet and outlet adopt national standard flanges, equipped with 4 flanges and corresponding nuts, which are convenient for direct installation. 1. Structure of particle collector ( black smoke purifier )

Green Union Purification L-DEZS series alloy metal particle collectors are composed of alloy metal filter units, stainless steel housings, bypass pipes and control units. This series of products can effectively treat particulate matter in the exhaust of high-horsepower diesel engines , with the characteristics of small installation size, convenient hoisting, safe operation, low back pressure when starting up, and convenient disassembly and cleaning. It has a certain noise reduction and silencing effect; at the same time, the cost of later cleaning and maintenance is low.


2. Introduction of Alloy Metal Filter Element Unit

2.1. Core filter material: alloy wire

The filter element unit is a metal filter layer made of alloy metal wire through a special process, which is superimposed with multiple layers and specially designed with unique technology. The alloy metal wire filtration area of a single filter element unit reaches 1.3m2, and the flue gas treatment capacity is 4-5L. It can be directly washed with tap water, and is resistant to high temperature, oxidation and rust.


2.2. Alloy metal filter element unit

The alloy wire used in the alloy metal filter element unit is manufactured by special technology, and the treated material is used as a carrier in parallel to form a diesel engine exhaust particulate collector . The snap-on fixed removable unit design and automatic bypass monitoring and alarm system allow the filter unit to be flexibly withdrawn for water washing and regeneration. It does not consume any energy during operation and has the advantages of high treatment efficiency, small startup pressure, long clogging time, convenient and fast regeneration and cleaning, convenient direct lifting and installation, and high safety factor of automatic bypass alarm. It can effectively remove black smoke particles (PM) in the exhaust gas of diesel generator sets .


3. Working principle of particle collector ( black smoke purifier )

As shown in the above schematic diagram, when the exhaust gas emitted by the engine enters the particulate matter collector box, the exhaust gas fills the entire box, and the exhaust gas enters the alloy metal laminate from all sides of the filter element. The carbon particles are intercepted on the metal disc, and the filtered exhaust gas flows out from the center of the filter element unit, enters the rear gas guide groove, and is then discharged, thereby achieving the control of particulate matter in the engine exhaust gas.

The control unit of the particulate matter collector consists of a pressure sensing detection system , a bypass system, and a control system:


1. Pressure sensing detection system: 

The electronic pressure sensor uses high-precision, high-stability diffused silicon pressure sensitive chips, and converts the measured pressure value into an accurate electrical signal through a reliable amplifier. High-quality sensors, exquisite packaging technology and perfect assembly technology ensure the quality and performance of pressure detection and accurate signal conversion.


2. Bypass system: 

The purifier includes a bypass pipe, a high temperature resistant solenoid valve, a pressure detection system and a control system. When the particulate matter collector reaches the preset back pressure limit due to excessive carbon deposits, the control unit controls the high temperature resistant solenoid valve to automatically open the bypass to ensure the normal operation of the unit. When the generator set is shut down and cooled, the filter element unit can be flexibly pulled out and the carbon deposits can be cleaned by flushing with tap water.


3. Control system: 

The control system controls the operation of the bypass valve in the bypass system according to the data detected and transmitted by the pressure detection system to ensure the safety of the purifier during use on the unit.

Diesel generator sets are diesel engines used in fixed machinery. Except for the power supply vehicle, which can be moved, diesel generator sets are fixed in place when running. The black smoke of diesel generator sets with an exhaust volume of less than 10L is easy to control. Most 200kW diesel generator sets have different operating conditions and adopt different black smoke control technical routes . The standby emergency diesel generator set uses an alloy metal DPF that is easy to clean for physical filtration. The detachable filter element is easy to clean carbon deposits and put into use again. For the black smoke of the main diesel generator set, the technical route of catalytic oxidizer (DOC) + catalytic oxidation particulate filter (cDPF) is adopted.

Diesel engines are called the heart of mobile machinery . They are widely used in various road or non-road fixed and mobile machinery due to their high power output and convenient fuel addition. However , the emissions of engines designed with different technical platforms and mechanisms vary greatly. The black smoke and NOx content of engines using high-pressure common rail electronic injection technology are very different from those of conventional diesel engines . At the same time, different types of machinery, different engineering scenarios, different loads, different fuels, and different climatic conditions require different technical routes for diesel exhaust black smoke treatment . The power of forklift diesel engines is generally small, with a displacement of less than 5L, and they work intermittently, with load changes and low exhaust temperature. In response to these situations, Green Union Purification has developed a filter made of 304 stainless steel to perform physical filtration with a folding fan structure DPF. When the carbon deposits reach the back pressure limit, the display screen in front of the cab will alarm, prompting water washing and cleaning.


According to the current non-road exhaust purification and treatment emission standards , the exhaust purification and treatment of non-road engineering machinery is mainly carried out by installing a particulate matter trap (DPF) to treat particulate matter (PM) generated by combustion. The metal disc filter is composed of metal discs and is an exhaust purification device that physically filters particulate matter. The filter is composed of multiple sets of metal filter discs in parallel to form a diesel engine particulate filter element. It adopts a removable clamp fixing design and is equipped with a pressure sensor and a monitoring device on the outside. When the particulate matter is collected to a certain extent, the back pressure of the filter increases, which will trigger an alarm. At this time, the filter element can be pulled out for cleaning and regeneration, and its particulate matter removal rate is as high as 90%-98%. The filter operation and filter element regeneration process do not require any energy consumption. The filter element is used for life, and its life span is the same as that of the matching diesel engine. The overall cost is low and the installation is convenient.
