First introduced into the Southern Africa market in the late 1970s, this is the range that initially established the Yanmar brand as a robust and reliable product. With outputs ranging from 5 kW- 17 kW, these engines are used extensively in the agricultural market as well as on certain industrial applications, such as pedestrian rollers and hammer mills. Proof positive of Yanmar's quality and reliability is that there are many of these engines still in service some 40 years later.
